The right wing for the last decade or so has seemingly cornered the market on fitness and wellness influencers (deservedly or not), gym bros, and even some crunchy yoga moms. Especially since Covid, the stereotypes attributed to the left include the body positivity/health at every size, obesity is beautiful thing, and the right associated with gym-fluencer, “looksmaxx” culture and the like. And yet… Donald Trump is their leader? This bloated, obese, diaper-wearing blob? Exactly what is masculine or attractive about Donald Trump? |
