NOT COOKIES!
I like to keep cookies on hand, packaged up to reciprocate for those inevitable unexpected gifts. Any ideas for something that I could keep packaged in a small baggie-type package? |
| Fudge |
| Hot cocoa bombs |

You could make that chex mix that is coated in chocolate and peanut butter and powdered sugar, then add a bunch of red and green M&Ms and pretzels.

I’ve heard it called Muddy Buddies or Puppy Chow, if you want to look for recipes. Also: hot cocoa mix (my mom used to blend her own, I think it was Nestle Quik, powdered sugar, and coffee mate - you can probably find some kind of recipe you like, maybe add some cinnamon or other spices) spiced/candied nuts cookie mix Russian Tea mix Once a coworker distributed small bags of miniature marshmallows with a poem that was something like this: Santa knows that you’ve been naughty So listen, here’s the scoop: Instead of getting coal this year, You get Snowman poop. |
| Christmas pretzels topped with a rolo, quickly melted. You can press it down with a red and green M&M. |
Immediately sent to the trash |

Candied pecans. You can put them in a cute container or bag with a bow and they should stay fresh for a bit. If you have people over, put out a bowl for noshing. Simple and feels elevated.

These are really good. I had a co-worker who used to make this for us. |
| Caramel popcorn |
| Muddy buddies, using whatever recipe you prefer. |

Classic Chex or Crispix mix (I'm using mini pretzels instead of breadstick slices but other than that, just going with the recipe on the box)
Chocolate-covered animal crackers (works best with the puffy kind, not the flat graham cracker-y ones; I add red/white/green non pareil sprinkles for Christmas) Mulling spices |
I'd love these. Or candied almonds. |
| Chocolate or milk chocolate dipped pretzel rods decorated with sprinkles or red/green candy melts drizzled over top. |
| Rice krispie squares? My DH made some biscoff rice krispie squares the other day and they were sooo good. Very unhealthy I'm sure but tis the season. |
