Student View not working

Has any one else's kids had issues with SIS not working? Both of my kids have had trouble with their accounts for weeks, and now they can't get into the system at all. They tried clearing caches and logging in again and nothing works. Parentvue is fine. It says "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." and then "internal server error"

Omg I thought it was just me! This happens to my kid too. Takes a bunch of reloading until it finally works just to get the message “object not set to reference” or something like that. It’s been a pain!

Yes my student has been complaining about for weeks as well.

Yes. There are a bunch of updates that you have to find in updates so run all those and restart. If that doesn’t fill out a county tech ticket. At the moment they don’t seem to be aware of the issue- I asked my School tech guy and he hasn’t heard anything.

... ok, not what this thread is about. Reached out to tech at the school and they said my kids should bring the laptop to them tomorrow so they can troubleshoot. Hope this will make them aware of the issue.

I have three kids who are currently in FCPS middle and high schools, and they attend three different schools. Among the three of them, there are 21 different teachers grading and updating SIS.

Kid #1's gradebook for all seven graded classes has been updated at some point this week.

Kid #2's gradebook was updated within the past 48 hours in six of the seven classes, and the seventh class was updated on December 8. I know there's a test grade missing because DC took that test last Friday.

Kid #3's gradebook is up--to-date in all seven classes, but one class only has three formative grades and two summative grades so far, so there isn't much to see.

I understand that my children's 21 teachers represent a small number of the teachers in the county, but when 20/21 teachers have up-to-date gradebooks, that's significantly better than your estimate of 50%.

Make sure your child reboots his computer. That solves the issue 99% of the time.

It didn’t work this time. My son took it to the tech office and they restored it to factory settings. It’s annoying but that’s the only way they could fix it apparently

its an issue with cookies, refreshing your browser and signing in multiple times should work, it seems that they messed up the code for it and they have no idea how to debug.

My child can access StudentVue from school but not from home, which is weird.
