Are those types of dogs or euphemisms?

What is a puggle? Sounds incredibly cute.

Get a pug, not a puggle.

Half beagle, half Maurice Chevalier

Half Pug, Half Muggle , or non wizard.

Pretty self-explanitory.

Get a mut from a shelter. They need homes and cost a lot less than a designer mut.

Sounds like they want to pay for the mutt they will get.

Agreed! My friend has a puggle and it looks like a really ugly Chihuahua. Plus, since they are part beagle, they need to be exercised properly - which means a lot of walks or they go nuts.

I don't know much about those two mixes. But beagles can be very easy to train and are good for first time dog owners. They do need to be exercised (like any other dog, really) so you'll want to do regular walks and if you have a yard, give it time outside as well. If you look up the traits of each type of breed it can give you a general idea of what a mix of those breeds may be like.

Check the rescue organizations as well. They have tons of dogs, and may have what you're looking for (or something similar).

I almost adopted a beagle/daschund puppy from a rescue organization but unfortunately don't have the time/money for it. I also desperately want a pitbull or a pitbull mix, but unfortunately my apartment has banned them and any other "aggressive" breed.

People, stop being so judgmental! I have been checking rescues for months, and guess what? Some of them are at shelters, so get off my back. I simply asked if anyone had one. I have my reasons for liking those breeds.

I have to respectfully disagree with the PP about the training of beagles. Beagles are notoriously hard to house break. And they howl like crazy most of the time too. And I have yet to see one that isn't overweight. That being said, puggles were very popular just a few years back. There should be plenty looking for homes by now. Just keep an eye on petfinder OP.

Here's a few on Craigslist. Email their owners.

11:14 here... hope that wasn't at me. It was a suggestion of another place to look, not a commandment.

Mine is half puggle (mom was a puggle and rescued while pregnant) and we dont know what dad was (german sheperd maybe) and he has been great. he does howl like a beagle, but otherwise has been very easy to train and great with our 2year old. I dont know if that has to do with his moms side or dads though
