I'm down for the count with something terrible. Lots of flu-like symptoms weakness fatigue nausea non-stop coughing headache fever. Everything. But tested and it's not either of these two things. Does anyone else know what this could be?
Sounds like the flu.
My kid had it last week. Tested negative for everything. Dr said some virus.
We just had that. Hydrate. Then hydrate more. Then hydrate even more.
My whole family has had it. 5 days of prednisone really helped.

Yes it’s run through our family too. We’re in CA so not local. It’s really strange. It’s worse than a cold but no idea what it is. Everyone negative on Covid and flu tests.
For DS, I was convinced he had the flu but negative. Muscle pains, high fever , headaches and then so much congestion he could barely talk. He was prescribed Prednisone and azithromycin. Better after a few days of Prednisone and antibiotics. For me, nothing flu like just massive amounts of sinus congestion and fatigue. No antibiotics but took a week of hot showers, tea, rest, OTC stuff. DH - same as above but occasionally runs a low fever. DD -headaches, sinus congestion, wet cough, tons of congestion, low fever , prescribed amoxicillins that aren’t doing much. |
It's a virus. There are lots of viruses that don't have names attached to it.

Covid did you swab your throat first thing in the morning before eating or drinking anything?
You're welcome. |

I think we had this in October. I coughed for a month afterward. But eventually all better.
We tested repeatedly for Covid but none of us tested positive. |
Feel like have this too. Bad leg muscle aches. Fatigue. Head hurts. Interview tomorrow don’t feel can cancel.
I had something similar in November. I tested negative for everything at urgent care. It took a couple weeks to get better.
Walking pneumonia.
We have had rsv and pneumonia recently and they were awful
What was the progression of symptoms?
We all had that in my house and two weeks later, I’m still congested. The fever lasted three days.
