| Appears to be a private affair. What age groups were invited? |
Anybody willing to pay. |

I think VDA had 3 selected, but they couldn’t attend. Very high level with well connected coaches. I saw something about college players getting invites too.
This seems to be similar to certain connected players getting private invites to train with NWSL clubs. |
Connected or high performing/high potential? |
Those 3 are the best players in the area in their birth year. |
| Pay to play garbage. Pro sports is more about entertainment than sport. It’s the gladiator of modern times. |
VRSC and NVA watching from the fence with puppy faces, wondering “how do they do it?” LOL |
Pretty great opportunity for these young women. Thank you for chiming in to crap on them! |
From VDA, 2 attended and one couldnt. |
Women’s soccer is hardly gladiator-like. |

I think it was a great opportunity for the younger girls - great competition. A chance for the teams to get an idea of who the younger players are (though most are known).
That said, I heard the best college players aren't attending the college combine this week. The top players are already well known and don't need to attend this event - some are signed and others are in active communication w teams. |
This makes a lot of sense. The NWSL got rid of the draft. |
| Did people have to pay to attend ? Why did someone say pay to play? |
Probably because youth leagues are pay to play. There was no cost to players attending. |
