Lamps - I’m the worst

It’s for our nightstands. Isn’t it.. womanly? Reminiscent of a BBL?

I think they are classic. Consider adding a printed shade.

Go to estate sales. You can find a great lamp for a great price. I have some beautiful lamps in my house and most of them are from estate sales.

I have something similar in my living room. Go for it, they are a good price. I actually prefer white lamp shades. If you add a 3rd lamp in the room, a printed shade would be fine.

Those are totally fine, but I would think about how much space they take up - I bought tall textured column lamps for our nightstands.

I like them!

Those are nice lamps. And how they look in your room depends on what your room actually looks like with how large your side tables what type of furniture do you have, etc.

Ugh. Too shiny.

I sympathize with the pickiness. I went for 10 years without a couch because I couldn't find one that I liked. So then I bought an IKEA one, because I threw in the towel. The color and size go with my living room, but it's not high back enough and it's too deep, and the cushions aren't good enough quality, and it's not leather... but I couldn't deal with my couch problem anymore.

Should I buy??? Or not?

The “real” version of these (spitzmiller) cost way more, so these are a comparative bargain.

Gourd lamps are a classic and well available in many colors at all the Home Goods type stores for around that price.

Those are fine. A nice choice that will look good in many different decorating styles.

I personally went down the rabbit hole of collecting vintage lighting a few years back and have far too many midcentury lamps, so I was expecting something much more expensive or rare!
