How long to upload grades?

| If your school has an online portal showing grades for each assignment, how long does it take the teacher(s) usually to upload the grades? Same day, a week, ten days...? What is typical? |

Across all the teachers my children have had, it wildly varies. My 4th grader's homeroom teacher typically has grades up same day this year, while it might take some of my 8th grader's teachers up to 2 weeks to grade a big project.
Our school has a published policy for when work has to be posted so students and parents know what's coming up, but not a published policy (that's parent accessible at least) on when it has to be graded. |

Are they multiple choice? Essays? Different types of assessments take different amounts of time to score. |
