Sad fact of life I don't think anywhere is really viable for artists anymore I mean unless you're living at home with parents in the suburbs?! lol

I'm the metros it's all $$ and even in suburbs that are nice, still $$..

The standard of living makes it impossible to actually be an artist never mind AI and all the zillions of things that make art obsolete.

I grew up in NYC. It has not been an artsy city for decades. Artists generally cannot afford it. Now they can barely afford the Hudson Valley.
