I don't know where I'm living these days between the clouds, gale force winds, and now these freezing cold and ice I'm over it.

Walking the dog tonight is going to be delightful. Thank God it's a sled dog I will bundle up, snowboots, duvet coat with fur trimmed hood (cuts the wind), mittens, etc.

It's a trifle icy at present, but nowhere near real cold.

You'll feel that in your nostrils when it hurts to breathe. That doesn't happen in the DC area.

Relax - it'll be close to 60 later in the week. At least it was sunny today.

Ugh yeah the winds whipping at 35mph and it hurts to breathe. I don't think you have been out today!

It was brutal taking the dogs out this evening. Tomorrow is a 2 hour delay but thankful I have the day off ( I worked this weekend) walking in the morning when it’s this cold makes me thankful DD is old enough to be left alone.

Yeah no. I'm from northern Europe and the "hurts to breathe" is NOT COOL. The biting wind tonight is fine. But not more than that, thank you very much. This is why some people up north stay indoors the whole winter, don't get enough sunlight, get depressed and take to drink.
