- Wool cardigan sweater (my kid likes the ones from Uniqlo)
- Baggy jeans
- rugby shirts (H&M has ones that are surprisingly nice and wash well)
- relaxed wide leg sweats (again, H&M, thick and wash well)
- oversized hoodie (not massive, just loose)

DH has been wearing quarter zip pullovers for > 20 years, so while my kid was a bit curious about them...they're dad clothes. So that was a big "no."

My son wore quarter zips in his preppy private middle school. Now he just wants to wear baggy jeans and big sweatshirts in public high school.
