2E teen social help

Our 10th grader was diagnosed 2e recently with adhd. Socially always challenged, mental health crisis in 9th required an in patient week followed by 8 weeks 9 hours a day out patient. We have been in family therapy, child continuous psychiatric and psychological therapy. Had the testing adhd done as part of mental health care.

Been bullied pretty regularly by various other kids.
After one kid consistently stealing from child got into a fight.

We notified the school the morning of the incident that DC was upset about this however did not call him in to discuss before it was too late.

We still do not have any support from school as they are in process of reviewing case.

Are there any legal protections for this class of adhd? Like if charges are pressed or we are sued.
