| Me |
When we first met, he asked me to go shopping with him to buy a pair of jeans. He comes out the dressing room with a pair of almost acid wash 80’s era wranglers on in a poor fit. This was 2010 so no it wasn’t in style then. I knew from then on that this was going to be a lifelong project. |
| No question, I am. He would say the same. |
| I dated a male model once. He was meticulous about his clothes. And this was college. His jeans went to the dry cleaners. His looks, and other details of our relationship didn't factor into our compatibility as much as I worried about his spending, the amount of money he spent on clothes. |
| Ha ha ha. It's not even a contest. He's a nerdy scientist who doesn't notice what he's wearing. |
| Neither lol |
| I used to be but I think he is now. I've been really struggling to find my style groove since becoming a mom. He's not judgmental though. |
| I used to be. Now neither. I need a wardrobe update but my body has changed so many times the past 17 years, not just with kids and post partum, but also covid working from home, gaining / losing weight…. The best dressed person in our house is our teen. |

Me.
He still dresses like the nerdy scientist he used to be. I don’t care, love him just the same. |
| Him. He buys my clothes. |
How it should be! |
| Probably me. But both of us are really well dressed, and use clothes as an outlet for creativity and looking good. But men just have a lot less options to do that. So he has 3 pairs of the same Banana linen pants in fun colors - pink, red, light blue. They look great on him, definitely get lots of compliments from other men and women. But wearing colored linens is about as fashion forward as guys can get. As a woman, i can do a lot more fun stuff with my clothes. |

He used to be a lot worse, but I helped fix him up over the years. |
| He used to be but now I am. His former girlfriend was really into fashion and as a result he had some great clothes. Now, after 20 years of marriage to me, he no longer has those clothes and doesn’t care as much while I work on myself more than I used to. |
