Get so outrageously expensive?
$100 for a ham??? Really??? |
| They’ve always been expensive. I haven’t bought one in years and it was $75 then. One in the grocery store is over $50. |
| Bought turkey slices after TG, $20 a pound, Really good though. |
| It is pretty ridiculous. I guess hey know people will pay? |
|
oh reminds me they probably have ham bones for sale now. about $20 but makes delicious soup base
|
| $100 is not that much. |
| they're dependably good in our experience |
| Been buying 2 per year (Thanksgiving, Easter), and they are always expensive, each year a little more so. And, always worth it. We also use the bones with meat after ,for soup |
| How big’s this ham? |
| just don't wait until dec 23 or 24 to buy it or you will be in line with 100 husbands sent to do it. |
|
Do you have the time & cooking skills to bake such a ham ? If not, the price seems reasonable depending upon, of course, the weight of the ham.
Would it have made a difference if Honey Baked Ham used oil company pricing strategy and listed the ham at $99.99 instead of at $100 ? |
|
Maybe if you are lucky, you will receive a misdelivered ham!

| DH’s older relatives always fight over the leftover honeybaked ham, so I guess it’s worth it if it makes them happy lol. |
|
Safeway has store brand spiral sliced ham on sale for 99c a pound right now.
I can't imagine it's all that different from a Honeybaked Ham. |
It's very different. It's like once you've had pure cocaine, the cut cocaine just doesn't deliver the same high. And the honeybaked ham is most definitely a narcotic. |
