I am a teacher, and I just want to be gone all summer. But I can’t afford 2.5 months worth of vacations. My dream is a somewhat mindless summer job that involves tons of traveling. Is that so much to ask? Lol
There is some app/site where people let people stay in their homes in exchange for pet sitting.
PP may be referring to Trusted Homesitter. My neighbors use them when they are traveling and need a dog sitter. OP, you could look on their website for a fun location and do a couple housesitting gigs during the summer.
Forgot to mention, I believe the site also has international postings.
A resort? Where they provide housing?
Do you need to get paid or just keep expenses low? If the latter could maybe WWOOF— work on a farm in exchange for room and board.
My friend was a chaperone for a tour company that took high schoolers to Europe. It was a free trip for her.
My sister in law did tour guides in the Swiss mountains. It paid very little, but they gave her free accommodation.
Travel nanny
That’s the problem with being a teacher. Lots of time off but no money to enjoy it.
Cruise
Seasonal work in a National Park? Lodging is provided.

If you don't mind continuing to be around kids there are tons of summer camps that would put you up all summer |
What about a teen tour chaperone? A friend of mine who was a teacher did that in the summers before she had kids. You'd have to have the right personality but she enjoyed it.
