We have an upcoming wedding for a young friend. Her registry is very modest and DH and I had discussed giving her a certain amount of money.

We used to be very close and at one point she even lived with us.

Option 1 - Buy a ton of things off her registry

Option 2. - Give her a check for a large amount

Which would you rather get?

Since ca$h is king 👑 I would prefer receiving money but both options imo are perfect.

Or you can always opt to buy something off of her registry, then give her some cash as well.
