DC has a secret Santa gift for a boy in class who wants cologne. The gift has to be under $25. Can anyone give a clueless mom ideas of what type to buy?

Get something from Nordstrom Rack or Saks. A decent Eu de Parfum.

There are three different Tommy Bahama ones that are 3.2 ounces that normally cost $72 that you can get for $19.97. It's not Creed, but the St. Kitts is quite nice.

Penguin Iconic Blend Eau de Toilette Spray, normally $65, is $25 at the moment.

It is widely known in the industry that Tom Ford created a copy of 4711, increased the price tenfold, and called it Portofino. I find the two indistinguishable and fabulous.

Portofino is the dupe. So go with the original. On Amazon for $25.
