Of course. Parent pushback, loss of enrollment, loss of reputation, loss of support from community and donors. But it's not really about the report card, it's a consequence of the data that goes into it. If we didn't have the report card, we would still have the data so there would still be consequences.
Potentially in DCPS, replacement of the principal or other administrators, or other intervention-- central office has a lot of discretion here.
Potentially in charters, conditions for renewal or non-renewal. And replacement of senior admins by the Board of each individual school. Intervention by the bigger organization if it's a school like KIPP or Rocketship or Harmony that has many sites in DC and other states.
