Applying make-up when you wear glasses

I need to wear my glasses in order to see well enough to apply make-up which doesn't work. It feels disorienting to apply make-up using a magnifying glass. Please share tips that have been helpful.

NP Not OP and I have glasses for both and can't apply make up either.

What kind of visual impairment do you have?

My daughter is very myopic and has strabismus which gives her double vision when she doesn't wear her glasses, but she can still apply make-up without them when she's very close to the mirror.

I have presbyopia but can still apply make-up.

My mom uses something like these, but there are 2 lenses. One flips down so you can work on that eye.

I asked the question about glasses. I also need both. Once I needed reading glasses, I could start using the magnifying mirror. It took a bit because it’s weird. Before then I found the mirror, I stood as close to a mirror as possible.

I just stand close to the wall mirror when doing eyes and brows. I can get foundation and blush on too.

I get VERY close to the bathroom mirror. Why, yes, those are nose prints! Sometimes I put my glasses on if I need to check something, like my brows.
