Please call your senator and demand that they modify the Defense Spending bill before supporting it. Somehow, the house version disregards the NTSB’s recommendations for deconflicting civilian and military flights.
That collision was less than a year ago. What is the point of taxpayers paying for expensive crash investigations if the safety recommendations they yield are ignored?? |
| (DC residents of course laughing about calling our senators) |
A minority of DCUM posters seem to actually live in the district. The point is that if the bill passes the Seny in its current form and Trump signs it, it becomes law. Guess what, you can call people who are not your Senator—I do it several times each week. If you call after hours, you can leave a message without saying where you live. |
Your obnoxiousness hurts the point you are trying to make. |
| I actually don't like flying out of there. |
| Never flying out of there again. It’s a death wish. |
+1. Its a good thing to fight, but you sound like Codepink. |
Sometimes, dead is better. For instance, the alternative might be Dulles. |
And this wasn’t obnoxious? |
So call Virginia senators. Where the airport actually is. |
Have you ever called a congressional office? The first thing they ask is if you are a constituent, and if you aren't, they advise you to call your Senator/Representative, and then say goodbye. |
Yes I have. Which is why I’m suggesting that VA residents, a target audience of DCUM, call their VA senators. |
