Murch In Boundry Preregistration has started

Are you planning to enroll your child at Murch Elementary School next September? It's time for in-boundary families to pre-register!

In order to plan for the right number of students for our Kindergarten classes next year, families need to visit the school to pre-register. All in-boundary students are guaranteed a spot in Kindergarten, but we like to know our numbers to allow for planning and placement. Note that Kindergarten students need to be 5 years old by September 30, 2008.

Please visit the school beginning Monday, May 5, 2008 to pre-register. The brief pre-registration form takes about five minutes to complete. You will need to bring with you:

-Proof of address
-Student's birth certificate
-Student’s social security card

Families will need to return in July/August during the formal DCPS registration period.

Location:
Murch Elementary
4810 36th Street, NW (at Davenport Street). The main entrance is through the parking lot on Davenport.

Hours for pre-registration: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
