They’ve convinced themselves the Dems have done it, so it’s perfectly fine when Trump engages in breathtaking corruption. Not that corruption is bad and we should root it out in all forms. Gives you insight into the corrupt brain of the average MAGA - they’d do the exact same thing if they had the chance. No morals, no sense of right and wrong or public good. Trump is threatening to withhold ALL federal funds to the state of Indiana unless the GOP there passes the Gerrymandering bill.

Now that Indiana has rejected the full gerrymander (rather than the partial one that currently exists) I will be curious to see if/how Trump follows through on his promise.

It would be ironic if Trump's actions push Indiana voters to reject trumpism all together.

*UAE $2B crypto investment & AI chips (May 2025): UAE pours money into Trump crypto project; Trump lifts export ban on advanced AI chips to UAE.

*Crypto firms donate → SEC cases dropped (Mar 2025): Consensys, Crypto.com, Gemini donate to inaugural; their multi-year SEC probes quietly ended.

*Saudi billions in Trump crypto & new arms deals (Feb 2025): Saudi funds Trump family crypto; Trump expands $110B arms package and military aid.

*Paul Walczak pardon (May 2025): Mother donates $1M to MAGA Inc.; convicted tax cheat son pardoned one month later.

*Tariff exemptions for companies that donated to Trump's 2024 campaign, super PACs like America PAC, the Republican National Committee, and his inaugural committee. (Apr 2025): These include: ExxonMobil, Chevron, Tesla, Apple, Ford, General Motors, Stellantis, and Reyes Holdings. These companies got personal tariff waivers and/or merger approvals after they made payments.

*Companies pay millions in Trump settlements & book Trump properties; DOJ/FTC suddenly green-light blocked mergers. This includes T-Mobile (merger with UScellular), Hewlett Packard Enterprise (acquisition of Juniper Networks), Microsoft (completed merger with Activision Blizzard), Capital One (merger with Discover), and Union Pacific (proposed $85 billion acquisition of Norfolk Southern).
