| How many people here give pajamas to family members as Christmas gifts? Not necessarily holiday-themed or matching, just regular sleepwear. Why or why not? |
| It's tradition! We love it. It's the one time of year this is given. |
My husband requested a set for his birthday, which is this Saturday. I am happy to oblige with a quality cotton flannel set, because I'm the one who snuggles on that
|
| Nope. If it happens to be in the general clothes I am picking out then yes- but not christmas themed. Just necessary. Like if I'm on a website and notice a good sale. |
| I think it is weird. It's something I only see in certain American circles. |
| I would love a nice set of PJs and wouldn't get offended if someone gave them to me. The only problem is I'm menopausal, so I need to sleep in something super light. It's hell. I spend most of the day freezing (like my hands never get warm) and then as soon as I fall asleep, I'm a puddle of sweat. |
There is always one of you strivers in every threat. So tiresome. |
Well yes, it’s an American tradition. I love learning about other holidays traditions! Weird that you don’t. |
| Sure. But, I have only really given them to my spouse, maybe my mom. |
We do and socks and beanies and gloves and underwear books and puzzles and family board games |
What kind of bedding do you have? I avoid anything with a hint of polyester or other manufactured threads, like Lyocell. Even before peri, they made me sweat. It has to be 100% cotton or linen. |
| Who wears Pajamas? My tendency is nothing, or sweatshirt/sweatpants if its cold |
This. Seems like an obvious question that would at least enter anyone’s mind before buying such a personal gift. |
Literally millions of people wear pajamas. What a weird question. How small-minded to think just because you do things one way everyone else does them the same way. |
| DH loves waffle knit pjs and wears them year round. I get him new ones every few years. |
