Those aren't the top four from the suggestions. i guess Reid didn't like them.

Skyview is a pretty name, but I'd prefer something about the area. Western is kind of dull, but okay--but Westfield is right next door.


Although, Sally Ride Mustangs would be a little appealing. "Ride, Sally, Ride!" For those of you too young, look up the words to "Mustang Sally." It would be a great football fight song.

I think Skyview would get my vote. Let the kids pick the mascot. Skyview Jets?

Ridiculous names. Haven’t we learned that we shouldn’t name things after people?

And the non proper nouns are all aviation/sciencey names when the academic pathway hasn’t even been selected.

I say stick with Western HS.

Reid couldn’t get the magnet she wanted but she still wants to foist a magnet name on the school.

It’s almost as sad as Frisch getting Mosby Woods renamed “Mosaic” when the school is not near the Mosaic District.

What happens when the space shuttle Discovery moves to Texas with Ted Cruz?

Skyview seems to be the best of the batch.
