Schools with LLM access, models and pricing levels?

Any Universities using perplexity or similar AI seat licensing? Just curious on pricing or use at your university. We have access to perplexity pro seat licensing at an unamed R1. Recently Claude Opus 4.5 was released. I used it a few days in test scenarios and its "reasoning" (advanced guessing) does seem to be progressing. Then after a few days they moved it to their "max" model licensing. They want another 300/month/seat for the "max" models!
Crazy, I know all these companies are burning cash with no profits in sight and insolvency will come sooner than later if they don't increase revenue 325/seat/month is crazy pricing for anybody not already in the AI bubble economy. |

| Check reddit, there are max users paying that cost and still getting limited. Perplexity blames the other companies. |
