Stony Brook School in Long Island

We are considering a boarding school in the tristate area. Don't think DC is competitive enough for the highly selective ones, but this school appears to be a fit. Can someone share their experience at this school?

TIA

40 percent of the kids are Asian and about 35 percent are white. Everyone's the same religion - not super diverse.

Solid academics, better matriculation than LI public schools, fun sailing program. It’s religious. It’s not a big deal if you’re not, but if you have an issue going to a Protestant school without pride flags everywhere then it isn’t the place for you. It’s a boring area and probably not ideal for boarding since that’s not its focus.
