Help ! Spanish 1 Resources

Hi All,
DD took Spanish as an elective and now she is struggling a bit on it . The teacher uses Avancemos textbook for reference . It only has questions not sure where to get the answer keys for them . Also in each of the test she is giving some advance new words that was not taught in class , since we have no idea about the language we arent sure where to get the resources for it . would like to know about the resources for Spanish lessons .Please Help !

I teach Spanish in Arlington, but my kid used Avancemos in FCPS. I'm not sure if answer keys are easily available for every activity, but some people do post answers on Quizlet.

It is expected that listening and reading assessments will contain new words that students have to figure out by context or because of their similarity to English.

I am sure there are plenty of resources on TeachersPayTeachers for every book and chapter of Avancemos. Filter your results by "free" and start there.

Most Spanish textbooks follow the order found here: https://studyspanish.com/grammar. Each lesson has a basic quiz and a mini-test that you can complete for free without logging in. So, if your kid has a quiz on adjectives, for example, go to this link for the lesson: https://studyspanish.com/grammar/lessons/adj1. You can work through the lesson, basic quiz and mini-test together and see how you both do.
