Not familiar with the idea of a "teddy bear tea," but I can vouch for the afternoon tea at the Willard being lovely. Actually this reminds me, I need to make a resy.

I'm this PP. Just made a reservation, and there is nothing left until Jan 9. So anyone who wants holiday tea, reserve right now. Hopefully the decorations will still be up.

It look like the Ritz-Carlton at Pentagon City still has reservations for tea in December

Tea with Mrs. B in Falls Church/Arlington has a holiday tea for kids. They are so lovely.

Teddy Bear Tea at the Four Seasons was very meh for the price, in my experience. Cute concept but wildly expensive for not great tea or food or service. (It’s really for kids/the cause.)

The Willard has a great tea at this time of year, as does the Fairmont. The Fairmont’s is kid focused and yet still has wonderful food and service.

OP here - thank you for the comments! Very helpful - I will look at the Fairmont as well. I expect things to be a bit pricey with the holiday tag (kind of like the wedding tag) so taking that into account when setting expectations.
