Don't Know Why VA Marketplace Said We Qualified for Medicaid Next Year

| started using marketplace in July after losing job's healthcare benefits. reapplied for 2026 the other day and couple days later it sent an email saying we're not qualified for marketplace but are for Medicaid. we're a family of 5 with projected total income ~150k, and no one is 65 years old. thought it might be an error but maybe we do qualify starting 2026 due to some changes we just don't know about? It can't be age related so must be income? confused. |

just got physical mail from Medicaid office basically welcoming us to the system. guess it's really happening. --OP |

| Every state has different limits, so they may be eligible based off their state guidelines. |
