winter coat for highs of mid 50s to low 60s

I’m headed south to spend Christmas with relatives, the weather there is usually mid 50s to low 60s daytime, can be low 40s at night.

Will I be comfortable (and feel in place) in my long wool coat, or will people be wearing more like fall barn jackets?

Fall barn jackets. You'll want a sweater under it at night though.

I usually bring 2 coats - a wool pea coat and a lighter barn-style jacket. I was in NC over Thanksgiving and was glad to have both options. Bring layers - wool sweater, sweatshirt, long and short sleeve tops.
