In the MCPS forum, there’s a thread called “Maryland School Year Law HAS BEEN CHANGED! The 180 day requirement is gone.” The OP thought that 180 days were no longer required for any school district in MD, but there’s just a narrow exception for Anne Arundel Co only, so it’s misinformation.
