| Holiday attire - can you wear red heels with black pants? Or is this not a good look? I have fun red shoes and am not the type who can pull off plaid pants so am trying to figure out how I can incorporate them into some holiday outfits (primarily day time events). TIA as I am not up to date on these things! |

I think you can wear red shoes with ANY pant for ANY occasion. A pop of red always looks stylish and I wear red flats ALL THE TIME, at least 2x a week.
Generally, I try to balance the red on your feet with red earrings, or purse, or belt, or somewhere in the pattern of your shirt. If I'm wearing all black, or all dark colors, or a neutral print like stripe/leopard, I love adding a red shoe. The only color outfits I would not wear red shoes with (or at least not without thinking it through a bit) is maroon, maybe pink. Though I see red/pink a lot. Go for it. I think we should all be dressing for serotonin, and less to blend in with all the Ann Taylors of the world. |
