Mega back door Roth or Traditional Investment

After you've maxed out your 401K, where do you invest additional money?

There are specific qualifications to do a back door roth. You can do a few thousand in a traditional roth and invest or save the rest.

If you have the option of a mega back door Roth not sure why you wouldn’t max that out before pursuing other taxable investments?

My current employer allows for the mega back door option so for the last few years I’ve contributed the remaining ~35k allowable to a Roth IRA via mega back door after maxing out my 401k contributions with an employer match.
