Sidwell Elementary

Could someone please fill us in on Sidwell elementary school. We were not very impressed by it. We have heard that middle school and high school are very impressive.

Lower school is a gem. What did you find lacking?

The head of the lower school is wonderful. Love her.

Unsure about the timeline, but Sidwell's Lower School will be moving to its DC location to join the MS and US.

The new US (which looks amazing) is slated to open in the fall and the current US building/facilities will be renovated to become the new LS.

2030 is what admissions told us.

The lower school facility is disappointing but, if you get in, hold out for the new building on the DC campus
