Okay to eat - left unrefrigerated

| Hard boiled some eggs this afternoon and left them to cool on the counter after the water drained - still in their shell - for 3.5 hours. Okay to refrigerate and eat? Thanks... |

| Probably OK-but if you're afraid, why take a chance? When it comes to food safety queries, I always err on the side of caution. Food poisoning is some nasty assed #$@%. |
