| This is for a 4th grader that can read a lot. I am undecided between the week junior or national geographic kid. I would be interested in other options as well. Thank you. |
| My husband and I had National Geographic for kids during our childhood. I would recommend that for broadening horizons. |
| Week junior is so awesome. Vote for that. |
| Hit up a bookstore and grab a few different ones to see which he likes best, then get a subscription at like 90% off the cover retail price. |

| My fourth grader loves The Week Jr and likes Cricket. |
+1 for these |
| Nat Geo stuff is garbage and has been for over 40 years now. |

| The Week Jr is awesome. I also recommend their Week Jr Science & Nature, if your kid is into science. It only comes monthly, but is awesome. I also recommend Science News Explores magazine as well as Oyla/Oyla Jr. They're really excellent science magazines for kids. |
| The week junior is our favorite. |
Sadly,.agree |
Or go to the library |
| The Week Jr.! It comes more frequently and is more topical. My 5th and 3rd graders love it. We have National Geographic also, but the Week Jr is the kids' favorite by far |
