| My DS has a few interviews for internships in Manhattan this summer. They’d be in the financial district. Has anyone’s kid found summer housing for interns previously? I’ve looked at a few websites and found some universities that rent out their housing for the summer. Any websites/apps that you found useful? Thanks. |
| Check out NYU. If they will be in FiDi, also consider Brooklyn options as it is a very easy commute. |

| If you can’t find anything in NYC, Stevens is right across the river in Hoboken and offers summer housing options to non-students with proof of an internship or college enrollment in the area. It’s a pretty easy trip via PATH into the city. https://www.stevens.edu/summer-guest-and-conference-services/summer-intern-housing |
Summer housing at colleges is overpriced; I’d join the summer sublet communities by Columbia/NYU, etc. |
| Thanks everyone. I did see the Stevens option. I’ll look at the summer sublets on FB. |
Overpriced, but convenient. |
+ a guaranteed community of similar age people near you to meet |

| My DC decided to do Airbnb during their nyc internship, better independent living situation than the nyu dorms and equal in price. |
| DD did a sublet from nyu student - east village seemed awesome socially and she got the freedom of an apartment while paying lower prices than official nyu dorm. |
How did she find it? |
These Found Study locations look promising. Does anyone have a kid who stayed in one? |
| Maybe also try Fordham? |
