Summer intern housing NYC

Anonymous
My DS has a few interviews for internships in Manhattan this summer. They’d be in the financial district. Has anyone’s kid found summer housing for interns previously? I’ve looked at a few websites and found some universities that rent out their housing for the summer. Any websites/apps that you found useful? Thanks.

Check out NYU. If they will be in FiDi, also consider Brooklyn options as it is a very easy commute.

If you can’t find anything in NYC, Stevens is right across the river in Hoboken and offers summer housing options to non-students with proof of an internship or college enrollment in the area. It’s a pretty easy trip via PATH into the city. https://www.stevens.edu/summer-guest-and-conference-services/summer-intern-housing

Summer housing at colleges is overpriced; I’d join the summer sublet communities by Columbia/NYU, etc.

Thanks everyone. I did see the Stevens option. I’ll look at the summer sublets on FB.

Overpriced, but convenient.

My DC decided to do Airbnb during their nyc internship, better independent living situation than the nyu dorms and equal in price.

DD did a sublet from nyu student - east village seemed awesome socially and she got the freedom of an apartment while paying lower prices than official nyu dorm.

These Found Study locations look promising. Does anyone have a kid who stayed in one?

Maybe also try Fordham?
