Do you pass food at table or do buffet style for Thanksgiving dinner?

We have always done buffet style due to large amount of guests so everyone plates their food on kitchen island then we sit at dining room table. This year is smaller-(8 of us) and I think I’ll place serving bowls/platters on table and we pass. Curious to hear what others typically do.

After a few years of buffet we went back to table this year (had Thanksgiving early due to work schedules). We all agreed buffet was better and will go back to that. We had hot serving dishes on the table and several children too young to pass due to weight or heat. So, some people never got some of the dishes because they didn't go all the way around. Buffet is best.
