Al Anon would be better. By default, people attending Alcoholics Anonymous are trying to get better and thus will probably be actively working towards sobriety. Also, I think they're encouraged to not date or have non-monogamous sex for the first few months. So, if you're not already in a relationship with one of them, you're probably not going to get any takers.
Now, Al Anon, which is for children and spouses/ex-spouses of alcoholics, would be much better. They're still working through all the ways the alcoholic in their life screwed them up.
Have a friend who goes bc her dad is an alcoholic. Without getting too much into it, she's messed up in a similar way to Olivia (she was not sleeping with septuagenarian politicians when we were Olivia's age) and has obvious daddy issues.
