Would this be appropriate for a casual holiday dinner at work, paired with dark rinse jeans?

If not, please provide some suitable options. I am a petite size 4-6. Thank you!

Govt/Defense Contractor. Restaurant similar to Ozzie's.

I like the shirt, would look better with black pants as the lace makes it a little dressier than most jeans.

I’d never wear a lacy/sexy blouse to a work event and also wouldn’t do jeans for a holiday party, and especially for the defense industry. It’s unprofessional on a couple of levels. A classic dress in that same color would look much better. No plunging necklines, short hemlines, too tight fits or sew through fabrics.

She said it was casual. And there is nothing sexy about that shirt.

I think I wore that exact AT shirt (minus the subtle puff shoulder) to an office holiday party circa 2001 - so yes, it is appropriate. And mine was a law firm staff holiday party!

That’s perfect for what you described.

A casual event at a restaurant like she described means both men and women will be wearing nice jeans. And that blouse is appropriate.
