The morning shows yesterday had long segments on the game, you'd have thought they were covering the Super Bowl. I looked up the ratings and they are about twice as popular as the men's league MLS, but still it seemed like there is more going on in the world than a soccer game.

I watched with my girls. It was dry and CBS will probably not be too happy about the product tonight but hoping that NYC and DC markets got it a good number.

NWSL viewership has been growing fast the last few years. It will probably exceed MLS in the next year or two in total viewers which is significant because I can’t think of any sports where the womens league gets more viewers than the mens. Of course, it’s still soccer in the US so viewership is not high for either. And more people in the US still watch European leagues than our own.

Apples to oranges. Men's is pay walled and gets, what around 10 times more $. Numbers are crazy low for both.

There are exactly zero genuine reasons for a European to watch any sport in USA, let alone football. They have standards.

Ur slow… nfl doesn’t exist anywhere in the world. Not hard to have viewers for it. NBA is the best basketball product to consume in the world. Need a PowerPoint or are you being deliberately overly woke virtue signaling what you deep down don’t believe? 🤡🌎
