What district are you in? There are two people running in each district.

I'm in District 4. That includes Cottage City, Colmar Manor, Bladensburg, Cheverly, Landover Hills, Glendarden, Springdale, Seabrook, Glenn Dale, Lanham, Landover and Riverdale.

The two candidates in District 4 are Patricia Eubanks and Aimee Olivo.

I'm supporting Olivo. I think she has a much better grasp of details and the complexities of a major school system. When I listen to Eubanks comments about how she is a fighter and has been a successful single mom, my reaction is "Good for you but... what about the school district?" Also, Olivo's positions are detailed and she seems to have thought things out; Eubanks comes across very off the cuff, as if details don't matter to her. Not what I am looking for in a school board member.
