Greenbriar West AAP center

How is Greenbriar West AAP center? My DC is new to this school this year. I am mainly seeing post about McLean, Reston and Falls Church area AAP centers. I have not met too many parents yet but how is overall atmosphere at this AAP center?

They're on a win streak. They're probably very, very good. Somebody's got to win. What's so "amazing" about that?

If the members were all Nobel Laureates, I'd deem that amazing. Let's not overuse the word "amazing."

You obviously know the competition so intimately well. You even know it over the last several years. I bow to you, oh great chess master of DCUM.

My kids attend GBW because we live in the area, but they are not in the AAP program (well, we won't know about one of them until next year). What sort of things do you want to know? It's a good school, good SOL scores, great teachers, excellent PTA. FYI, there is overcrowding at the school and they are currently looking at various options to alleviate this isssue that I blieve will be effective next year.

Let's not overuse the word "amazing." Well, maybe you are in wonderment. All others would say "great job."

Greenbriar West is renowned for their chess teams; but no reason to equate that with the AAP program. Two different things.

I couldn't agree more.
