Pitt Frederick Honors College Application

Is there a separate Pitt Frederick Honors College Application form other than what was submitted thru common app? In the common app we said Yes to this question "Do you wish to be considered for admission to the Frederick Honors College?". Pitt portal says "Interested in joining the Frederick Honors College? First-year applicants must submit a completed application no later than December 1. If you meet this deadline, you will be notified of your admission decision on or before March 1."

I am not seeing an application form. Can somebody clarify if there is a separate application or just common app?

No nothing beyond the question in the common app

They mean that you must apply to Pitt by 12/1

Agree with this.

Also, they used to have a separate application and essay but they got rid of it. My son completed that 2 years ago. It definitely was scrapped. However, when in effect, 12/1 was the deadline.

My kid was admitted to the honors college for 2026 start and all they did was click the “yes” button in the common app.
