Several of our teachers require phones for websites that only take private email. Everything with sports/arts is coordinated through social media platforms via the kids, not teachers. Very few teachers do phones away.

My kid respects sensible rules for healthy living, and has never used phone in class.

The phones are not really away in MCPS. There are lots of holes in this phone van like Swiss Cheese.
