Cornell or G-Town for EDIB Studies?

DD wants to major/ focus on a career in EDIB (Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging) and is looking at degree programs. While Harvard seems to be #1 for this, it is probably out of her reach.
Georgetown offers a program leading to the Executive Certificate in Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion, with a focus on sustainable DEI strategies and cultural competency. Cornell offers a Diversity & Inclusion Certificate Program with a focus on understanding workplace dynamics and overcoming unconscious bias. Can anyone chime in on which program is better, and maybe why? TIA ! |

Georgetown itself is not that diverse, I don’t think it would be a good experience for a BIPOC studying EDIB there. |

| Part of me thinks this is a troll because the ROI on a degree + certificate to the pay of the jobs is bonkers. I’d probably do a state school + fancy certificate. But if you’re not a troll, then I wouldn’t discount the jesuits commitment to DEIB, now and way before it was a thing. And Jesuit schools and institutions still have DEIB jobs, and would favor a Georgetown grad. Just something to consider for post graduation |

Both schools are great options. Both were founded to be (relatively) inclusive.
