“Color enhancing” sealer

We have a new small patio area with what I thought were going to be light gray marble pavers but which turn out to look almost glaringly white in real life. Completely my fault for not seeing samples on place.
Contractor says “color enhancing sealer” (which was part of the plan, apparently) will really tone down the white appearance. Anyone done this? |

| Yes it will make it a shade or two darker. Try it on an extra piece of paver before applying to the patio in full. |
