A thread with a link to a Blaze article claiming to have solved the pipe bomber case from J6 cropped up on here yesterday before Jeff swiftly deleted it. (Thanks Jeff!) But it looks like Glenn Beck and crew are suffering some fallout from it. I hope the woman sues them. You would think that RWNJ would have learned something from the Alex Jones Sandy Hook case.
Substack article from Will Sommer, who wrote a great book on QAnon and follows right wing conspiracy theories: https://open.substack.com/pub/thebulwark/p/the-blaze-right-wing-media-pipe-bomb-january-6th?r=2tkz6u&utm_medium=ios How can we stop conspiracy theories? |
I thought conspiracy theories were mostly right wing, and do still think they mostly are right associated... However, the Charlie Kirk thread derailed that, there are both right and left conspiracies there. Also, plenty of folks on the left who believe Trump staged his own shooting. The way the right dissected the word "pizza" in Wikileaks emails and overlook or excuse blatantly obvious evidence of Trump's Epstein ties and corruption in Epstein leaked emails has been fascinating though. The Epstein files may be turning this left leaning person into a conspiracy theorist, though. I never really actually thought there was much there with regard to Trump till his utterly bizarre and inexplicable about face this year. |
| *shocked* that The Blaze was full of $hit. |
Which elected Democrats or officials in Democratic administrations have shared conspiracy theories about Charlie Kirk or anything else you listed? That’s the difference. |
I am the PP and this is a fair point. |
Conspiracy theories are a sign of a sick society, that no longer has trust in government or institutions. You can’t stop them without rebuilding faith in American institutions. |
