Marketing post-PSAT?

Does marketing (ex. mailers from schools etc.) begin after the PSAT and results have come in? First time in this rodeo, so just curious what to expect. When DC took the ACT we opted out of all marketing, but the PSAT was administered/facilitated by the school so I suspect we're on some lists now. No idea how this works or what to expect. Thanks.

Expect some mail. It’s no big deal.

I think to some degree students can also opt out with college board. Whether you opt in or not you will get lots of emails. But I do sense if you opt out it is somewhat less.

It is. My kid high-scoring kid opted out of ACT and PSAT marketing, and we got nothing unsolicited in the mail.

Yup, tons of emails and a good dose of physical mail started after my kid took the PSAT in 10th grade.
