How impressive is the John Locke Essay competition

Didn't win it - which is obviously very impressive out of thousands of essays.

Got High Commendation which is top 3%

Well it means likely around top 2070 or so entrants but there are sev people in each category getting this recognition and it is in the mid-recognized tier. It’s better than not listing anything but it’s also not necessarily impressive unless you knew more (only American to receive this recognition in this category type thing).

it's a strong international pool. and "the mid-recognized tier" is babble. HC is a very impressive award for John Locke.
